Prior to the current phase of my career, even before teaching, I spent 14 years as a Programmer/Analyst. I learned SQL, Python, and other tools to do web development.
After I became a Political Science teacher, I also taught AP Computer Science.
I always had knowledge of networks from an application development standpoint – sharing files, accessing remote databases, etc.
